We are not interested in making people fit the software. Incubate!
All of these ideas can be captured using the Incubator within Seren ideas manager, where they can be shaped and enhanced until they are ready to move forward to the evaluation stage.
Evaluate
The Evaluation Desk provides a rapid means of evaluating these ideas and provides a range of financial parameters which enable the user to select the most appropriate opportunities to go forward to the planning stage. Facilities are also provided for the user to undertake an evaluation and ranking of ideas using their own criteria and weighting factors. These facilities provide a powerful framework for raising the quality of ideas throughout the organisation by use of appropriate feedback mechanisms.
Plan and pilot the chosen few!
The easy to use planning tools guide any project through the stages it must pass in order to create a comprehensive project proposal. The software can be used as an integral part of the process, providing task lists and Gantt charts, showing the critical path and the available slack time for any part of the project. It can help bring together departments or teams which may be working separately on the same project, such as R & D, Marketing and Production. The effectiveness of the “Seren” innovation approach has already been proved, and has been well received in the business market place. The Workshops
If you decide to adopt the software as the foundation of your process then our training workshops will position your people to use it well. Our programmes of training are always tailored to an organisation’s specific needs. Our workshops range from a half-day familiarisation programme to a six day consultancy, conducted over a period of six months or more, providing comprehensive, long-term project support. Typically:
- A half-day training session enables the user to become familiar with the software and to begin the process of idea generation.
- A one day workshop is based around helping key staff to identify and overcome blocks to creativity, and use a range of creativity tools for generating new ideas.
- A blended learning workshop enables key staff to be taken through the process of using Seren ideas manager as an idea generation tool, and introduces them to the process of evaluating and ranking ideas using financial and customised criteria.
