Evalu-action is evaluation that makes a difference. We are an agency that specialises in action-centred evaluation for innovation; evaluation that makes a difference for the innovation projects it supports. Ours is a team of process, service and product innovators who are experts in project team-work, measurement and dissemination. Evalu-action brings a unique range of evaluation tools to help project-teams to improve their projects and to secure increased take-up of their innovations and their learning.

Our expertise is based in supporting innovation for the UK government, EU Commission, the Council of Europe, the UN and the World Bank. Our action-centred evaluation is of two main kinds:
- Formative evaluation shines a searchlight on how a project is progressing and can improve
- Summative evaluation harvests the end-impact and learning from a project
Innovation project teams do not need inspector-figures evaluating whether they are up to standard. They need critical friends. We assess data on what is working and what might work better. We assess their spread, their impact and their value-for-money. And we help them get the attention and engagement of those who need to know and use their findings.
